Guitar | Bass

Trevor Linam
Schedule: Mon – Sat

I was born in Burbank and raised in Santa Clarita. I am twenty-six years old and I have been playing guitar since I was eleven. I have been taught by several very talented guitar players and in 2021 I earned a bachelor’s degree in performing arts from Cal State Channel Islands in Camarillo. I received classical training and took several composition classes. I am heavily influenced by Frank Zappa, King Crimson, Rush, Pink Floyd and Yes. I absolutely love progressive rock and jazz fusion. I specialize in improvising on guitar and that is what I want to teach students. I want to teach students about scales and how to build chords, and then how to solo over a rhythm section. If you want to learn how to create your own unique guitar solos, I am
your teacher! Ultimately I want to have a fun time with the students, so we will also spend time learning how to play the student’s favorite songs. If there is a song you want to play on guitar, I can help you make that a reality. I also play bass, so if you’re interested in learning how to play bass, I can teach you that as well!
