Lida Arakelyan

I’m Lida Arakelyan, the same Lidushik herself. I was born on July 11, 1999 in Yerevan. I have studied at Yerevan basic school No. 131 named after P. Yavorov, as well as in the piano and shvi (an Armenian fipple flute) departments of Yerevan art school named after Avet Gabrielyan.

From 2014 to 2018 I have studied in the vocal department of the Yerevan State Pop and Jazz College, in parallel I have also studied in the department of percussion instruments. In 2018, I enrolled at the vocal theoretical department of the Jazz-pop Department of the Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas; I am currently in the 3rd year.

From April 2002 to September 2010, I attended the vocal children’s and youth ensemble “Arevik” of Public Television and Radio. Since 2002, I have participated in song and dance festivals, musical concert projects, starred in various TV shows, including as a presenter of musical programs. I was on a concert tour in Syria in 2003, in Bulgaria in 2006, in Cyprus in 2007, in Georgia in 2008.I currently work on new songs and I’ll present new music videos.

I want to thank all those people, who educated and taught me, as well as my extended family, and especially my grandmother Gohar, who is my producer and is always by my side. I want to thank my audience, all the kids who love and sing my songs.
