Bass | Drums | Guitar | Percussion | Piano

Isaac Saltoon
Schedule: Mon – Sat
Isaac’s interest in drums was sparked after being exposed to the deep grooves and world rhythms found in the music of Carlos Santana and the Grateful Dead. This inspired him to take up drumming at the age of 9 years old when after-shool music classes were offered at his elementary school. Isaac continued to play drums and learn bass throughout middle school and high school but really found the rhythms he was first impassioned by when he attended college.

When Isaac began attending Cal Poly Humboldt he joined a World Percussion Ensemble, Calypso Band, and Contemporary Percussion group where he performed rhythms from all over the world and developed a passion for hand percussion. During his time in school Isaac was actively gigging with local bands in the Humboldt area playing drum set, percussion, and bass. He played regularly with a rock, neo-soul, jazz, and salsa groups in the Humboldt area and on tour for 4 years until he moved back to Los Angeles in 2023. Isaac is currently playing in salsa band and working as Special-Education paraprofessional. He is constantly in search of more music to play and listen to.
