Aside from performing and teaching, Chris spends his extra time audio engineering. While working towards his Bachelor’s degree at University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA, Chris spent 1.5 years training under recording professor Jeff Crawford, and has continued honing his skills by working on projects within and outside of the University of Redlands – including mixing and mastering Valley Youth Philharmonic Orchestra’s virtual Winter 2021 concert.
Outside of music, Chris is a karate instructor with Young Champions. He has been training for nearly 20 years and has been teaching for the last 3 years, currently teaching 3 different in-person locations throughout SoCal (one being Northridge) and 1 online class. Chris also enjoys collecting suits, dress shoes, and the like; plus detailing his and his family’s cars.
