Amanda Ballinger
Schedule: Mon | Fri | Sat
Hello my name is Amanda Ballinger and I am a graduate of California State University Northridge with my Bachelors of Music in Vocal Arts. Under multiple teachers, I have learned Bel Canto and Speech Level techniques which have allowed me to become a versatile performer and teacher. I have performed opera roles such as Despina from “Cosi fan tutte,” Musetta in “La Boheme,” Annina in “La Traviata,” and Mrs. Greta Fiorentino in “Street Scene.” Most recently I made my European debut as Genovieffa in “Suor Angelica,” where I also trained with world class coaches and teachers. Though my specialty is Opera, I have performed Musical Theater, Jazz, and Pop in various venues and shows. Some of these venues include Sterling’s Upstairs at the Federal, The Granada Theatre in Santa Barbara, and the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza. As a teacher I strive to bring my passion for music into lessons, catering to the needs of each student as an individual. No matter their goals, I hope to help my students achieve their full potential. My goal as a teacher is to create an environment where the student is happy, learns healthy technique, and leaves with a positive experience.
